September
Here is a little group of pictures that I took of Kenzie the other day while she was playing outside. She LOVES going outside, I mean LOVES! First thing in the morning she goes over to our screen door and says "side" then she goes and gets her shoes and brings them to me. It's just so fun watching her grow & learn new things.
Kenzie is talking so much these days, she will pretty much parrot anything you say at this point. She still loves her kitty, and has learned how to pick him up successfully without choking him! HA!
Tim and I are doing good too :) The shop is busy and he has been avidly going out every waking moment that he is not at work just hoping that a big elk will step in his path!
Hope you all enjoy the pictures!

Kenzie is 1
I had such a blast taking pictures of McKenzie getting into her cake, she is so curious and had sooo much fun squishing it in her little hands, and then smearing it all over her chubby little face and eventually the cats! yes, she tried to feed the cat, although I don't think he needed any help.

1 Year
My little tiny baby is 1, well as of Wednesday she is. I so wanted to write this on the actual day but I was to busy spending it with the birthday girl.
As of today, Kenzie has been so happy and healthy, I feel so lucky to have been blessed with her in mine and Tim's (who will now be called Great White Hunter) life.
Parenthood has definitely been more challenging than what I thought it would be, but that's usually how it goes right? Nothing is ever too easy I have come to learn, but wow! what an amazing experience it has been, and nothing as been as rewarding as being in her life.
My favorite things have been watching her grow, watching her learn to smile, roll over, sit up, feed herself, well it's kinda like she feeds herself..... or the dog or cat or Tim & I and most recently we now have to feed the deer above our table before she will even consider taking a bite
She loves to be outside playing in the dirt with the water hose. My flower pots are mysteriously uprooted about once a week, hmmm...
I adore watching her & Great Hunter play, he adores her so, and she is such a daddy's girl that whenever he is around she is his little shadow.
I would not change ONE thing about this past year, and while I rocked her to sleep tonight and felt those soft little baby fingers around my neck I couldn't help but think that I am the luckiest mamma in the world! I have a healthy, happy girl who is so vibrant and full of life, and hubby who loves me so.
My cup runneth over.

Just another saturday

Just another Saturday in our sweet little life. Kenzie is now the proud owner of a new kitty, it is yet to be named though. This morning while Tim and I drank our coffee we sat and watched as our baby girl, who will turn the big 1 in a few weeks played with "kitty", on the chair, off the chair, run around the coffee table, running down the hall, mostly laughing but there was the occasional cry every once in a while :) Makes my heart happy.

oh my it's been to long!
I guess if I'm going to have a blog I should at least update it!
Tim and I are doing great, the shop has been busy and the weather has been unusually warm for January. McKenzie is doing good as usual! She is rolling over, sitting up by herself and also eating a few foods. My baby is growing up too fast!!!
We had her dedicated on January 8. That was a very special time for us, and it was wonderful to have Pete, Joey and Jenny come up for a visit. I would load some pictures but my computer crashed and I lost them all...bummer! so I need to get to work at taking some more.

Halloween Fun
Our first Halloween as a little family :) We tried to paint Kenzie's face so she could be a kitty she didn't quite like it and so we settled for a ghost shirt with a cute little kitty tail...lol
The shop has stayed busy and Tim and I are finally starting to feel like we have things under control. God has been so good to us!

October
October has been such a busy month...between Jarbidge, Missouri and work I'm not sure how the three of us have kept our sanity.
We are finally the proud owners of our own shop and Tim has done an amazing job! Mckenzie and I go to work with daddy now, she is our little mascot. All the customers love her! He is such a hard worker and loving husband and father, I'm so incredibly lucky!
McKenzie is doing great, she has slept through the night a few times which makes me very happy. She smiles and talks to you and loves attention. All in all she is a great baby.
We had our very first date night and Mckenzie stayed with Grandma for a few hours so Tim and I could go to dinner, we missed her terribly, but is was so nice for us to just sit and enjoy each others company :) I can't wait to see whats in store for us in November!

1st month
I don't think 1 month has ever gone by so fast in my entire life! It has been so amazing for us to have her here, we always say that we don't know what we did before she came. She had a few routine Dr. visits and she is a very healthy little girl. Tim and I are doing great as well, a few sleepless nights but it has all been worth it. Here are a few pics, enjoy!

She is always so happy in the morning :)

38 weeks
Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks!
Im feeling pretty good, ready to meet my girl! Tim say's she can't come until after this weekend because he wants to go fishing :) I told him I'll do my best to keep her in, but no promises!
38 Weeks!

Woodcutting. I thought this would put me into labor for sure, but no such luck.

Using my belly as a table!
